Free Art questions the idea of payment & capital for works of art. Free Art is a venue for a dialog surrounding how art is valued in the contemporary market place and how it’s assessed culturally. Over 1000 pieces have been given away from nearly 200 artists from over 15 countries.
It has been created three separate times:
1) Rural Western Ireland
2) SEVEN Art Fair as part of Winkleman Gallery’s booth in Miami during fair week
3) (e)merge Art Fair Washington DC as an invited artist project
